Simone Gobbi plans the return on the coast of both Scandinavian and British tourists ans he is already building up projects for this matter.
The Councillor for Tourism Simone Gobbi has the conviction that the Scandinavian tourist market will soon come back on the coast; The commissioner states that he has already established an agreement with a leading local tour operator and on Jan. 20 he has already booked a flight to Helsinki where Matka, the most important trade show of the Scandinavian world it’s being held; There are all conditions for the return to this market. We are talking about tourists with good economic potential, culture lovers, wellness, nature, sports and entertainment. The City will invest good money, without sharing the presence with other municipalities. Gobbi also ponders another return, that of the British people. Forty years have passed since the Romagna promotion drew the London nobility from England.;Today, we can rely on the direct flights and on the value of sterling which has come back strong against the euro. These are the proper conditions to bring in the English people in Riviera and Riccione. In this case, the details of the operation have been developed together with the Councillor for Tourism of Cervia, Milano Marittima, Nevio Salimbeni. The project is taking shape with the objective to be present jointly in London at the Tourism Fair to be held from 10 to 13th of March. GOBBI already started the campaign to raise as much money as possible and start an important promotional marketing beyond the Channel; The project will involve employers and consortia. It is an opportunity, especially this year, since the topic of the London fair will be the La Dolce Vita.
