Tomorrow the heat flow will reach the second level of hit in Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Civitavecchia, Florence, Latina, Naples, Palermo, Pescara, Reggio Calabria, Rieti, Viterbo and Venice. So we will be above 35 degrees until Saturday, then the temperatures are expected to fall and remain normal. 9 thousand phone calls were registered only in the first five days of activation of the toll-free number 1500 (July 16 to 20) - set up by the Ministry of Health to give advice and information to the citizens in order to avoid health risks.
Rome registered an historical heat level record which caused a blackout that affected 13 thousand people, Termini station and Piazza Barberini, in the center. The heat also affected people from Tor Bella Monaca who, tired of the blackout that had blown up air conditioners and fans, have marched to the police station. The military had to escort engineers of ACEA, a company that deals with delivery of water and electricity.
